Liverpool remain interested in Athletic Bilbao defender Fernando Amorebieta.

The 27 year-old Venezuela international has been tracked by Reds representatives since before manager Brendan Rodgers' arrival.

Fichajes.net says Liverpool are willing to offer €14 million for Amorebieta, having previously failed with a bid of €12 million.

The stopper is tied to Bilbao until 2014.
