League One Portsmouth have signed 18 year old midfielder Jordan Obita on a one-month loan deal from Reading, reports Pompey's official website.

Pompey boss Michael Appleton said: "He can play in numerous positions and is a quick lad. He's really lively and will add a youthful edge to our side.

"He's very highly thought of at Reading and there have been a few clubs wanting to take him on loan."

Obita - who has represented England at youth level - is a product of Reading's academy, who has made two League Cup appearances for the Royals.
