Ex-Werder Bremen utility Polenz joins Western Sydney

Western Sydney Wanderers have announced the signing of German utility Jerome Polenz ahead of the 2012/13 A-League season.

The 25-year old, who can operate in all areas of the pitch, has signed a one-year deal with the newest A-League club.

Polenz kicked off his career with Werder Bremen in 2004 before joining Alemannia Aachen in 2007 and was most recently with Union Berlin prior to heading to Australia.
