Former Inter Milan and Fiorentina striker Adriano is being offered a way back into football by Flamengo.
Adriano was released by Corinthians in March.
Flamengo, Adriano's boyhood club, could rescue him with a pay-as-you-play contract.
"There is space for Adriano if he is willing to help and serve us," said Fla coach Dorival Junior. "Firstly Adriano will have to agree a deal with the directors and then respect it."
Flamengo President Patricia Amorim added: "Things are moving well."
