Real Madrid boss Mourinho admits: I was wrong with Vilanova bust-up

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho admits he was wrong over his infamous clash with Barcelona rival Tito Vilanova last season.

Mourinho poked Vilanova in the eye during a touchline all-in brawl, which he since admits he regrets.

"What I did, I should not have done. Obviously not. But I'm not a fool who does not know the story behind what has made me lose some control. I work a lot with my players on just that, managing emotions, to think only of playing and working well.

"As Tito said a few weeks ago, the images will remain forever. Most important are the negative images. Between him and me there are no problems. After that game, we'd meet and greet eachother.

"The story is over and now I have to try so that nothing happens like that again."
