Manchester City legend Rodney Marsh is urging Arsenal striker Robin van Persie to choose the Blues over Manchester United.

Marsh is excited by the prospect of the Arsenal striker playing alongside Sergio Aguero - and thinks City would dominate the Premier League with the Dutch ace in their ranks.

The ex-England man told the Daily Star Sunday: "I think City are on the way to the absolute top of football - while United are on the way down. City will be the team who win the trophies over the next few years."
