Milner: Greater expectations at Man City over Champions League

Manchester City midfielder James Milner knows there's greater pressure on them for this season's Champions League campaign.

Milner insists City will be expected better last season's effort in Europe regardless of who stands in the way.

"We want to improve in Europe as we were disappointed with our performance in the Champions League last year, so that's a massive thing for us," he said.

"I don't think it will put any more pressure on us. People expect us to win games with the team we have but I don't think there's more pressure on us from outside, that mostly comes from ourselves and from each other.

"We'll go out there as we do every game and try and win football matches."
