Mascherano agrees new Barcelona contract

Javier Mascherano has agreed a new contract with Barcelona.

The new deal ties the Argentina international to the Nou Camp until June 30, 2016, and includes a buy-out clause of €100 million.

The 28-year-old will put pen to paper on the contract in the coming weeks, Barca confirmed in a statement on their website.
