Werder Bremen chief Allofs confident of deal for Chelsea's De Bruyne

Werder Bremen chief Klaus Allofs has confirmed plans to sign Chelsea winger Kevin de Bruyne.

Werder hope to take De Bruyne on-loan for the new season.

"It looks good. We have been in contact for several months with the player, his agent and his club. But it is not a done deal yet," said Allofs.

"A loan would certainly be worthwhile.

"The case will be completed next week as the British are back from their US trip."
