Chelsea to pounce as wife mugging forces Cavani rethink

Chelsea are keeping tabs on Edinson Cavani's situation at Napoli.

The Uruguay international is a top target for Chelsea, though Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has slapped a €100 million price-tag on his head.

But the mugging of Cavani's wife, Maria Soledad, in Naples yesterday could change the situation.

The striker may push for a move away after the incident, with Chelsea waiting in the wings.

Maria has now joined Cavani in London as he prepares for the Olympics campaign with Uruguay.
