Ferguson has no interest in leaving Peterborough for Nottingham Forest

Darren Ferguson is not about to up and leave Peterborough United to take the vacant Nottingham Forest post.

The Posh manager is one of a few names being linked with the Forest job, following the sacking of Steve Cotterill, but he insists he has no interest in leaving London Road.

"It's something that's part and parcel of the game, speculation," said Ferguson.

"I've said - and I'll say it again - it's not for me, I'm happy here and that's the end of it really.

"It's not for me and that's it. I don't think anyone needs to know any more, do they? That sort of puts closure on it."
