Real Madrid allow Carvalho, Gago to negotiate departures

Real Madrid pair Ricardo Carvalho and Fernando Gago again missed the second day of preseason training yesterday.

Both players have been excused from training by coach Jose Mourinho as they attempt to find new clubs.

The futures of Carvalho and Gago now lie away from Real, with neither player likely to make Mourinho's final squad cut if they cannot find new clubs.
