Crisis-stricken Rangers have now had their pre-season tour to Germany cancelled by their hosts.
The Glasgow club, who were yesterday told they would not be competing in the Scottish Premier League next season, were set to take on 2.Bundesliga club Eintracht Braunschweig as well as lower league sides SV Rodinghausen and Armenia Bielefeld later in July but those dates have now been cancelled.
"The Rangers Football Club has been informed by the organisers of our pre-season trip to Germany that they can no longer offer us a place on the tour," read a statement on the club's official website.
"The team was due to play three games in Germany between 18-25 July, but the trip will now not take place at their request."
