Ambitious West Ham linked with Milan playmaker Stankovic

Newly promoted West Ham United are, according to reports from Italy, plotting a move to sign Inter Milan midfielder Dejan Stankovic.

The 34-year-old saw his 2011/12 campaign ravaged by injuries, and he managed just 14 starts in Serie A.

Italian TV station Sky Sport24 claims the former Serbia international is attracting interest from the Hammers.
