AVB sees Porto star Moutinho as Modric successor at Spurs

Porto star Joao Moutinho could still get a move to England this summer.

Moutinho confessed towards the end of last season that he fancied a move to the Premier League after learning of Chelsea's past interest while Andre Villas-Boas was in charge.

"The Premier League? I can only say it's one of the best leagues in the world - but I have not spoken with any club," he said.

With AVB set to take the reigns at Tottenham, a move for Moutinho could be back on in the coming weeks - especially if they lose Luka Modric.

A Bola says Porto must make a big cash sale this summer to balance the books, with Moutinho among the names being mentioned.
