Luka Modric has told Tottenham he wants to leave for a Champions League club.

Marca says Modric has already told Tottenham he wants to leave because he wants to win the Champions League.

Although PSG and Manchester United are credited with showing an interest, it's claimed the midfielder's first-choice destination is Real Madrid, where apparently he's viewed as cover or an alternative for Xabi Alonso.
