Blackburn Rovers are believed to be interested in making a move for Harry Kewell.

The former Leeds United, Liverpool and Galatasaray winger has departed A-League club Melbourne Victory due to family problems, which he will stay in England for, and it is being reported that relegated Rovers may pursue his services.

The mother of Kewell's wife Sheree Murphy is ill with cancer which has forced the Australian international and his family to return to England where he could continue his career at Ewood Park.
