Celtic eyeing Aris Thessaloniki's Sifakis

Celtic reportedly have their eye on Aris Thessaloniki goalkeeper Michalis Sifakis just in case their pursuit of Fraser Forster falls through.

The Hoops want the Newcastle United man permanently following his successful two-year loan spell at Parkhead but have 27-year old Greece international Sifakis as a contingency plan.

Forster and Celtic have yet to come to terms over a move and free agent Sifakis, who is a close friend of Hoops forward Georgios Samaras, has now entered the equation.
