Barcelona risk losing out to Manchester City in the battle to land AC Milan defender Thiago Silva.

Both clubs are chasing the Brazil international and Sport quotes agent Sabatino declaring City as clear favourites.

"Manchester City very seriously intend to sign Thiago Silva. Roberto Mancini will make every effort to make this move possible.

"But now the valuation of the Brazilian player is €50 million. The 'Citizens' are trying again their assault, but not for these numbers."
