Brazil great Ronaldo: The whole word wants to see Beckham at the Olympics

Brazilian legend Ronaldo suggests that David Beckham should be included in the Team Great Britain Olympics football squad.

The LA Galaxy star is being considered by Team GB head coach Stuart Pearce but if it were Ronaldo coaching, there is no doubt the ex-Manchester United midfielder would be front and centre.

"I know David would love to play for Team GB - and he should. It would be a great chance for him to achieve his Olympic dream," the former Barcelona, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and AC Milan striker said.

"There is no doubt that the whole world would like to see him play.

"I do not have a reason why he shouldn't be picked.

"It would be good for GB and it would be good for the tournament for him to play in his home city. He has a chance to make history."
