Arsenal legend Adams hands ex-Fulham striker John Gabala chance

Former Fulham striker Collins John is being handed a chance to return to European football by Arsenal legend Tony Adams.

Adams has handed the released Chicago Fire striker trials with his Azerbaijan club Gabala FC.

"I hope Collins John can pick up the thread here," said Adams. "A few years ago he was a very talented player.

"I hope I can help him find his way back up again. He is being given a new chance."
