Barnsley move for Hull striker Nick Proschwitz

Barnsley are chasing Hull City striker Nick Proschwitz.

The Hull Daily Mail says the Tykes have followed the lead of South Yorkshire rivals Doncaster Rovers and League One side Wolves in declaring an interest in signing Proschwitz on a long-term loan this month.

City are prepared to cut their losses on the German striker during the January window but may choose to wait until after this weekends FA Cup date with Southend United before sanctioning any deal.
