AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has ruled out a deal for Chelsea legend Didier Drogba.

When asked about a new striker for January, 34-year-old Drogba and Roma's Pablo Daniel Osvaldo were told they can stay with their respective clubs.

"They are too old for us," he said. "After 26 years, we've put a stop to spending crazy money in order to build a young side for the next 10 years.

"We need two or three years to become competitive in Italy and the world again."
