Crystal Palace boss Dougie Freedman admits he has been impressed by trialist Peter Kurucz but at this stage is unsure if he will sign him.

The 24-year old goalkeeper is a free agent after being released by West Ham United in May and performed well as the Eagles beat Dulwich Hamlet 3-0 in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday.

"We're having a little look at him," said Freedman. "We feel in pre-season it's an ideal time.

"He showed that he has good quality and saved that penalty.

"We just need to assess whether we're going to take a third goalkeeper or not."
