Socceroo Mark Schwarzer will arrive two days late for next week's training camp in Melbourne because of contract talks in the English Premier League.
But the Middlesbrough goalkeeper won't face any disciplinary action for his late arrival, after the move was approved by Socceroos coach Pim Verbeek.
"Verbeek has granted the request of Mark Schwarzer to join the team camp late so that he can continue contract negotiations overseas," Football Federation Australia said in a statement.
"Schwarzer was expected to join his teammates on Monday 19 May ahead of the friendly match against Ghana to be played at the Sydney Football Stadium on Friday 23 May.
"The Australian goalkeeper is now due to arrive on Wednesday 21 May."
"Super June", as it has been dubbed, will feature the Socceroos playing in four 2010 World Cup qualifiers as they attempt to progress to the next stage of Asian World Cup qualification later this year.
Matches against Iraq in Brisbane on June 1 and China in Sydney on June 22 book-end a two-week tour-of-duty in the Middle East, in which the Socceroos play Iraq in neutral Dubai on June 7 and Qatar in Doha on June 14.
Olyroos skipper Mark Milligan has been named in Graham Arnold's 21-man squad for this month's pre-Olympic tournament in Malaysia after having his ban reduced for skipping a Townsville training camp.
Milligan had his tournament ban reduced to two matches after Arnold and Socceroos coach Pim Verbeek accepted his apology for opting to skip the recent camp in favour of trialling in England.
