Bolton's Cahill out for months with blot clot

LONDON, Feb 8 (Reuters) - Bolton defender Gary Cahill will miss several months of action, effectively ending his hopes of a place in England's World Cup squad, after suffering a blood clot in his arm.

The 24-year-old had felt ill last week and was taken to hospital on Saturday, missing the goalless draw with Fulham, the club said on their website (www.bwfc.co.uk) on Monday.
