Australian leg-spinner Stuart MacGill has fired a barb at former national coach John Buchanan as the team prepares for its tour of the West Indies.
MacGill has been dogged by a knee injury he originally suffered during Buchanan's five-day 'boot camp' in Queensland bushland in the lead up to the 2006 Ashes series.
The spin bowler says he is enjoying training a lot more under new coach Tim Nielsen.
"The good news is the current coaching staff has a very clear idea of what constitutes preparations for a cricket series and it corresponds with mine, which is very good," he said.
Meanwhile, Brad Haddin says there is pressure on him to perform with the bat when he makes his Test debut against the West Indies.
The New South Wales wicket-keeper will replace Adam Gilchrist, currently playing in the Indian Premier League, in the Test and one-day sides.
He says Gilchrist's performances with the bat have raised the bar for wicket-keepers around the world.
"I think now Adam's actually changed the perception of a wicket-keeper, before you obviously had to be solid with the gloves and contribute with the bat," he said.
"But Adam's taken the batting to a new level and now you have to be a genuine all-rounder."
