The great pace showdown

There has been a lot of talk this week about the WACA wicket, and I hope it lives up to the predictions.
They have promised a nice, fast, bouncy wicket, and if that is what we end up with, then that will definitely suit my style of bowling.
I am really hoping for a little bit of pace, and a bit of bounce, but as far as the wicket goes, you can't change what you are given. We still need to go out there and bowl the right line and length.
We have been really lucky and have a lot of depth in the Australian cricket team, and with Peter Siddel coming in, I think he is going to do a great job.
He has only played one Test match in India, but he got four wickets over the two innings and bowled really well, so I expect that he will be pushing it, and trying to show people he can do it in Australia. He is a great bowler and I'm not at all worried about the selectors bringing him into the side to play South Africa today.
It is obviously sad that we have lost Stuart Clark, because he is a world-class bowler, but we have an equal talent coming in.
The South Africans are a top quality pace attack, but the thing I have been saying all week, and what we have discussed in the Australian camp, is that we have a great pace line up as well. We have guys that can bowl as quick, if not quicker than the South Africans.
The way I look at it, it is going to be a great showdown.
