Pistons sink Magic to advance

DETROIT, May 13 (Reuters) - The Detroit Pistons beat the Orlando Magic 91-86 on Tuesday to clinch their seven-game series 4-1 and advance to the Eastern Conference finals.

Detroit will play the winner of the Boston-Cleveland series for the Eastern Conference championship and a place in the finals.

Richard Hamilton scored 31 points for the Pistons while Hedo Turkoglu contributed 18 points and nine rebounds for Orlando.

The defending champion San Antonio Spurs face New Orleans Hornets later on Tuesday with their series tied at 2-2.
