Mercurial Geelong forward Steve Johnson was a late withdrawal for last round's epic encounter with St Kilda and doubts remain over whether he will take to the field in Round 15 of AFL 09 Yahoo!7 Fantasy Sports Team action.
Johnson is suffering from a hip complaint and for the quarter of all coaches around the world who have him in their line-up, a nervous 48 hours awaits them.
However, the injury doesn't sound too serious and it would be a surprise if he was to miss anything more than one week.
When you consider Johnson, who was third on the AFL 09 Yahoo!7 Fantasy Sports Team total points list heading into last round, averages over 150 points per game, there isn't a lot of justification in parting ways with him.
But if you're desperate for victory and don't want to take any chances by putting Johnson ($455,900) in your starting line-up, then Leon Davis, whose price dropped by nearly $20,000 to $416,000 after a modest return of 99 against Essendon last week, would be the best replacement for you.
West Coast star Daniel Kerr was another surprise omission heading into last round and while he was still listed as battling soreness on the club's official injury list earlier in the week, it appears that he will return to the Eagles' line-up for their clash with St Kilda on Sunday.
But for the 105 coaches who have him in their team, it's probably time to trade Kerr ($236,600) anyway.
The 26-year-old has struggled terribly this year, averaging a meagre 78.64 points across 11 matches - hardly the output of a superstar player.
His value has also plummeted by $105,300, so you should cut your losses and bring in a player like Liam Anthony ($87,200), Jason Davenport ($174,800) or Beau Muston ($187,700).
Geelong defender Harry Taylor was one of many Cats casualties to arise from their bruising encounter with the Saints.
The $259,500 defender was knocked out cold after copping an errant elbow to the head from St Kilda ruckman Michael Gardiner as he pulled down that now famous mark with just 90 seconds left in the match.
Taylor, who is owned by nearly seven percent of all coaches, was stretchered off and was in a bad way for a good few minutes.
He remains a doubtful starter for Saturday night's match against the Brisbane Lions and if you simply must get rid of him, Ted Richards ($258,200), Ryan Houlihan ($258,000) or Jarryn Geary ($246,100) would make handy replacements.
