Gold Coast Suns midfielder Harley Bennell has been arrested during New Year's Eve celebrations in Western Australia, reports News Ltd.

Bennell was taken into police custody in Mandurah at approximately 2am Tuesday morning after engaging in a series of physical altercations that erupted along the foreshore of the coastal city.

The 20-year-old was reportedly charged with disorderly conduct and filed bail later on New Year's Day.

Bennell is poised to play his third season with the Suns after debuting with the new franchise as a teenager.

Since then he has emerged as a key member of the team, and last season starred with 25 goals.

If it looks like an Allison, is dumb as an Allison and smells as bad as an Allison, its probably an Allison. I thinks she hates footy as she had a man leave her for the game

His behaviour was cretinous, he looks like a cretin, he sounds like a cretin, he acts like a cretin, ergo, hes a cretin. MIght I suggest you brush up on your English language skills too, dearie. You're nearly as bad as the David fellow. Or are you one and the same? Could be, given you make the grammatical errors, your syntax is similar (and flawed) and your spelling is attrocious.

David, David, David. You poor little man. Do please learn to read. Not just the words. Any dill can do that. You need to learn to comprehend what the words mean. Do you understand that, or would it be better said in pictures?

There was more than 1 arrest that night so why is he the only 1 in the paper!! All you people weren't there for all you know he could have been defending himself from other drunken twitts. Your judging him because he plays AFL, all said and done he is a kid, 20 years old, kids make mistakes so lets hope he learns from this.
