Saints' pres Westaway to step down

St Kilda president Greg Westaway has announced he will step down from the role at the end of the 2013.

According to the St Kilda website, Westaway made his announcement at the Saints' Annual General Meeting on Wednesday night.

Westaway, has held the position since taking over from the controversial Rod Butterss at the end of the 2007 season.

During his tenure so far, Westaway oversaw the Saints playing in three Grand Finals in 2009 and 2010, including the famous drawn Grand Final in the latter year.
