Saturday's loss to Hawthorn leaves the Swans with a simple equation this weekend - beat Geelong at Simonds Stadium and they will secure a home final in Sydney.
The Swans have no option but to move on from Saturday's heartbreaking defeat, which knocked them off the top of the ladder - a position the Sydney side had occupied for much of the year.
Despite losing three of their last four matches heading into the final round, coach John Longmire isn't buying into claims his team lack a killer instinct.
"I'm pretty confident in our ability to finish off games," Longmire said.
"We've played a couple of really good teams the last couple of weeks when it's been a fine line in it.
"I think the lead changed six times in the last quarter - if we didn't have a killer instinct there'd be a bit of an issue with that."
Longmire believes the intensity of their game against Hawthorn has prepared his team for this week's pressure match.
"We look at it and say, 'what a finals-type game of footy it was'.
"(There was) enormous pressure, where both teams were right in it until the last 90-seconds of the game. That gives us another opportunity to head to Geelong this week and practice again."
Longmire also confirmed that Jude Bolton is in line to make a return this weekend. The veteran midfielder has missed the last three games with a knee injury.
"We're going to try and train him tomorrow (Tuesday)," Longmire said.
"Hopefully he gets through that okay and we'll look forward to training him on Thursday. If Jude's able to get through those training sessions he'll certainly play this week."
