St Kilda utility Arryn Siposs has been announced as the AFL's Round 15 NAB Rising Star nominee on Tuesday.

Siposs, 19, was impressive in his side's 71-point thrashing of Essendon at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night, gathering 17 disposals and kicking two goals.

Saints coach Scott Watters praised Siposs after his nomination and said his hard work and sublime skills by foot have significantly impressed him.

"This year Arryn has dedicated himself to becoming professional in the way he prepares," Watters said.

"So to receive a NAB AFL Rising Star nomination on the back of the work he has been committed to is rewarding.

"His capacity to play multiple roles combined with his elite kicking skills are highly valued. And with a continued focus on improvement we believe Arryn can develop into an extremely versatile player for the Saints."

Siposs - drafted at pick 75 in the 2010 AFL Draft - played five matches in 2011 and has added seven to his tally so far in 2012.
