St Kilda have re-signed exciting youngster Rhys Stanley to a new three-year deal.
Stanley, who can play up forward and in the ruck, will remain with the Saints until the end of the 2015 season.
"I couldn't be happier, the club has shown faith in me until the end of 2015, so I'm stoked," Stanley said.
Stanley is currently on the sidelines with a hamstring injury he sustained against West Coast in Round 8, but did show some excellent form earlier in the season.
St Kilda coach Scott Watters said the 21-year-old has a long future at the club and was pleased to get him to agree to a new deal.
"He is continuing to develop as a really important player for the group," Watters said.
"He has worked really hard over the pre-season and still honing his craft as a key forward, and obviously someone who we expect to shoulder the ruck burden over the next couple of years as well."Originally from Berri in the Riverland region of South Australia, Stanley has played 17 games for the Saints since debuting against West Coast in Round 9, 2010.
