I know the Swans have sent their literature out (re memberships) & mine has been paid.

A reminder to all that your club is only as strong as it's membership numbers so if you haven't yet paid up then this is as good a time as any.

They make great christmas gift ideas too.

I feel a bit guity buying a membership with all those starving kids in africa but feel it would be totally weak not to go again for the cats-as long as I more than match money outlay for membership with donations to africa-I supose it will be ok!??!!

Ratuss, am not knocking you for your benevolence as I myself am a very good giver to charity, HOWEVER I make it a rule to only donate to charities that are Australian and preferably to one's that most if not all the money goes to the source and not to administration costs ... much of your money isn't getting to where it's needed.

Renewed last night (or at least made the 1st payment of my renewal).

Geelong started a new payment option this year called Committed Cats - and you can either pay in installments over the year or 1 lump sum, but your membership rolls over every year until you tell them you want out. Hassel free membership - fantastic option.

And I'm with gt - give to charities where the money stays in Aus and were there is minimal overhead costs (will always be overhead costs), but less overheads if you give directly to the charity (not through 3rd party organisations) and the money stays in Aus.

Ratuss, we're not "upset" at all, fact is rather happy that you feel the need to help other less fortunate BUT as we pointed out much of your money is bein' spent on air conditioning and mobile phones etc for the charities administrators ... it's your call and no wukkas, just try not to make something outta nothing in the future please.

Merry Christmas for sure.

Renewed my Legends membership about a month ago.

Pies membership: 32,710....& counting!

Edit: Changed my display name to Harry S Trueman & it still comes up with Simon & it takes ages for everything. Do not like the new format.

Although, once again, I will miss many games, I have "coughed up" and as the Eagggrrrrrrsss will be a lot "nastier" this year, I should have no trouble finding alternative "Bottoms" to polish the worst Stadium seating available. Great position, but hey, you can always take a cushion if the seat is too hard.
Fact is, they will do some damage over the next few years, get ready for humble pie all Eagritz Criticz, ;)

LOL, Christmas Gifts... A Swan's Membership!?
Guess it beats a second hand copy of The Female Eunuch by Germaine Greer. I'm sure we would all rather curl up and read that instead of watching Collingwood, Richmond, Melbourne, Saints etc. play.
What does a Swan's Membership do for avid Readers? Confess I haven't read Germain's contribution to Literature or a "Better" Society yet, nor am ever likely to.
Maybe Swans will play a more entertaining brand of footy this year. I reckon a Dee's Membership or Wobbles Membership would be a better Prezzi. OK, A Lion's Membership would be worse LMAO!

Yeah Nik it is a great effort so far-thanks

King funny you should mention that as I went for a  job interview yesterday ( my 3rd in the last 10 days) I missed the 1st two as the questions were psychological in content.I blew it and left both interviews thinkin' " you pack of @%&#kwits". I don't want to work for you.

As I just upped and left my last job and as Ferrat pointed out, I'd taken a risk.Well it's paid off- I've landed a beauty- 9 day fortnight, 17 % super 10 bucks an hr more, holiday loading and will be part of a team where every ones been there over 10 yrs- no one leaves( the guy I've replaced has retired)

Will be a great Christmas now

well done matt - congratulations. Good luck with your new job

Job interviews are the worse - never liked job interviews, got lucky that with my current job I started work here as a volunteer and from there got put on as casual/part time and then full time this year. So glad I had no interview for this job.
