The Demons surprised many by taking Jurrah with pick No.1 in the 2009 NAB Pre-Season Draft. A lively forward from Alice Springs, he played mostly in the Central Australia Football League but also played four games for Collingwood's VFL team in 2008. Jurrah is a lively forward with good pace and will no doubt be in Dean Bailey's plans for this season.
