Davey's pace and dash make him a dangerous player and the Bombers will welcome back the speedster after he suffered season ending injury in Round 5 last season. The younger brother of Melbourne's Aaron, Davey has become the master of the run-down tackle and this is what has gained him respect at Essendon. Playing primarily as a forward to date, he may be unleashed into the midfield this season to give the Bombers some much needed speed around the stoppages.
