Dalziell was promoted to the seniors in Round 16 last season after averaging 33 disposals in 14 games for the Suncoast Lions. At AFL level he averaged 26 disposals per game - the most disposals ever recorded by any player in their first seven games in VFL/AFL history. He is an outside midfielder who uses the ball well and proved he could get the ball in dangerous positions being involved in 56 scoring chains for the Lions - the second-most by any Brisbane player from Rounds 16-22.
