The Lions will be expecting a breakout season from the highly rated Clark within the next two years. Injuries have cost the key forward/ruckman, allowing him to play only 22 of a possible 66 games since joining the club. Last season he was forced to play as the second ruckman, a massive task considering his height of just 198cm. Clark won a hitout from just 25% of ruck contests - a poor percentage for an AFL ruckman. He made a name for himself as an elite contested mark in juniors playing as a key forward.
