Fletcher is no longer a walk up start in the West Coast midfield and has had to contend with injuries and poor form over the past two years. He has played only 27 of a possible 46 games in the past two seasons and has struggled to adapt with the loss of Chris Judd and Ben Cousins. Fletcher has been a consistent performer over a long period of time averaging at least 22 disposals in each of the past six seasons. His work at the stoppages and his good hands make him an important player at West Cost, but with the emergence his younger teammates, his time may be limited.
