Selected with pick No.43 in the 2006 NAB AFL Draft, Houlihan made his AFL debut last year playing eight games for the season. He showed some encouraging signs averaging 13 disposals, four marks and two inside 50s per game from very limited game time. Houlihan has great endurance and can play in a variety of positions, but is best suited to a role on a wing or in the midfield. At WAFL level he played 13 games and averaged 20 disposals and seven marks per game for East Fremantle.
