Brown is a promising young key position player who missed all of last season after he suffered a serious knee injury during a pre-season game in Albany. He is a tall and athletic player who can play in the forward-line and in defence. A first round selection in the 2006 NAB AFL Draft, West Coast will be hoping he makes a successful return in 2009 to re-build what is a weak forward-line.
