Jones has been a solid player for West Coast since being elevated from the rookie list in 2004. He was in good form last season until he suffered a knee injury which prematurely ended his season. He averaged 18 disposals and a career high six marks per game, providing plenty of run and drive from defence. Jones had more responsibility last year playing on the most dangerous small/medium forwards and sometimes having stints on the taller players. Entering his sixth season, he has played 83 career games and is a vital component in the Eagles defensive structure.
