After crossing from Carlton as part of the Chris Judd deal, Kennedy managed just seven games for the Eagles in his first season, averaging 13 disposals and seven marks per game. A first round selection in the 2005 NAB AFL Draft, Kennedy is a key position forward who is great in the air and can kick a long goal. Still only 21, West Coast would be hoping that he could stand up and become an imposing figure at centre half-forward for years to come.
