Selwood has become one of the better defensive players in the AFL and has been used in this role for a few years now. He played all 22 games last season and has now missed just one game in the past three years, highlighting his outstanding durability. He has taken over the mantle from Tyson Stenglein as the Eagles' No.1 tagger and did big jobs last season. Although he is finding less of the ball, his value to the team is enormous as highlighted by his top-three finish in the club's B&F award.
