Schneider played 19 games in his first season with the Saints after battling a hamstring injury early in the season. While he is a handy half-forward flanker, he has failed to average more than 16 disposals or finish with more than 30 goals in any of his six seasons at AFL level. He booted 28 goals last season, finishing with multiple goals in seven games and booting a career high five against the Demons in Round 10. He played the 100th game of his career last season after playing 98 with the Swans between 2003-2008.
