Koschitzke played a career high 22 games last season, also booting a career high 30 goals for the year. He spent most of his time up forward, grabbing a career best 38 contested marks across the season, while also grabbing the second-most marks inside 50 of any Saints player. He was a multiple goalkicker on 10 occasions with his bag of four in Round 9 against the Lions his season high. Koschitzke has been with St Kilda for eight seasons now, but has never reached his full potential after being selected with the second pick at the 2000 NAB AFL Draft.
