Banner is a small midfielder who represented Vic Metro at last year's NAB AFL Under-18 Championships. He was impressive throughout the carnival averaging 18 disposals and four inside 50s per game. He had an outstanding TAC Cup season for the Western Jets averaging 29 disposals per game which was the highest of any player at that level in the past two seasons. His in and under work and long kicking make him an exciting player and one to look out for.
