Meyer played 17 games in four seasons at Richmond after being recruited to the Tigers with pick No.12 in the 2004 NAB AFL Draft. He failed to play at AFL level last season and was delisted at the end of 2008 by the Tigers paving the way for the Power to pounce. He plays mainly as a midfielder, but it also capable of playing in defence or as a forward in a crumbing role.
